Haha, thanks. As a typical, naive college student I swore I'd never fall into the mundane, Office Space-esque cube life. Meh, I like what I do.

I'm glad I have a cellphone camera I can actually use.

A trip to a Nature Conservancy Preserve - my friend's grandfather's uncle's brother in law donated the land so we got permission. This is right outside Todd Ray, way up off three top.

A high elevation (4700') fen - very rare to have a bog like this, it has carnivorous sundews

The right edge in the foreground overhangs a >500' cliff. Gneiss view, water fall didn't come out.

The topiaries are all wind maintained - Three Top is to the right

HDR might have been nice on this

Those things are nasty. I watched a History or Military or something channel program on them where they showed them being tested and people just driving them insanely. The craziest footage was in a desert somewhere where the truck was buried up to and above the axles while it just kept plowing along at about 30 mph (estimated). Insane power and traction. Aren't all of the wheels powered (i.e. 8 wheel drive)? I know the front 4 turn for steering.
