    That would appear to be a mill of some kind. It almost looks like hes trying to give us a hint with that milled piece of billet to the left of the machine itself. Unless thats just a die (SP?) for something.

    **Edit: By the lack of knobs, one could come to the conclusion that it may be a CNC mill. Also the printer/plotter sitting next to it.

    i think its the power plant for the new srt-4 caliber

    Actually, it's a tester for determining the strength of bond between "welded" plastic parts. My company produces individual plastic bottle handles in bonded sticks, for easy handling and transport. I worked with a mechanical engineer to design this apparatus for making sure that the bonds are to a particular spec. There are two strain gauges in there that measure how much force is necessary to feed out a part; I devised the electronics and programming to process the signal and translate it into a calibrated result in the computer.
