    I posted a pic of one of these 50 days ago - it took that long for them all to open and the first one still looks fine. Also a couple of other orchids that are in bloom now.

    So I guess I'm not surprised I'm the only one who grows orchids here?

    Let me see if I can tie them in - the last one actually smells almost exactly like my car exhaust when I start it on a cold morning with a DC UP. Kind of a fiberglass/petrol odor.
