    nice land and city scapes. Include a human element to them and you could be a travel photographer. Great light Great moments Great composition

    You may already know, or possibly don't care, but the white flowers are
    Erythronium montanum (avalance lilly)

    The Pink ones are

    Empetrum sp., not sure on the species but probably E. nigrum (crowberry)

    Thanks. I did know the the flowers but only because they had signs explaining.

    Here is another shot of Rainier. Don't know why I didn't add it before, it's one of my favorites. I came upon this view on a 108 round trip drive to get gas. There isn't much in this part of the state.

    Yeah, of course the pic is nothing like being there in person. There is actually a parking lot there that is nicely hidden by trees and you can swim in the pod. It was about 90 degrees when I took that pic.
