only ones that come to mind are supra ones...but those only belong on a supra. Why not try the JDM ones?

I have recently purchased a 1987 Toyota MR2 and want to do something about the tail lights. I am talking to a friend in NY about glassing me up a new back panel but the problem is I cant seem to find any tail lights that are flat, they all seem to wrap around to the side of the car. I was just wondering if some people could chop some stuff into the back of this MR2 so I could see what It would look like. If anybody would like more details on what I am looking for just ask!!
Please and thank you!!!!!![]()
EDIT: This is NOT a picture of my car, this is a random MR2 found on the net.

First off I cant find parts for this thing at all, I am picking up springs and shocks tomorrow that where bought with the car in 1987 when the car was brand new. I still have yet to run to a Nopi shop to see what they have but when I search on eBay, TRD site, and every other site I can think of nobody has anything. I dont really wanna do Supra tail lights, I was thinking about going to old school American muscle tail lights because it will fit with the over all angular look of the car. But I just wanna get an idea of what would look good. I would do it myself but A: I dont have PS and B: I would probably suck at using it, lol.Originally Posted by Z3RO

I am also open to suggestions but I am thinking more of 70's and 80's style.

i wouldnt worry about it. your money is better spent on other things like drugs and porn
I totally agree with the drugs and porn comment how ever I want to like the car I drive and I can get the work done for the cost of materials and shipping!Originally Posted by c00lbeans

any taillights that weren't made especially for that car will look crappy. Leave it stock.

I really dont think so. I am thinking about giving the 89 Trans Am checker board taillights a try. And well, if I dont like it I could always just put the stock piece back in until I find something I like.Originally Posted by MasiveMunkey
