List some things that annoy you about being 'good' at photography

1: Everyone asking me to take pictures of their cars when they have nothing 'special' on them.

2: People asking for pictures as SOON as I get home.

    3: The expensiveness of everything!

I agree with #3. But #1, and #2 sounds more like they would be dislikes about your friends.

    I have two:

    1. Photographers who think they're better than they really are!
    2. Photographers who are mean to their friends because they think they're better than them!

You're just looking for trouble today, aren't you?

Actually, those who are "good at photography" generally won't say so, certainly not in the manner in which you did here. Their work will stand on its own. I'm happy that you're happy with your new camera and hobby and your images look great. However, you might want to cool it for a while with your activity in here. There's already enough friction between you and speedette from your other thread. This area of the forum is very laid back with lots of talented people sharing info & ideas and their works, which ultimately benefits everyone, both experienced and new to photography. Please don't lower the standard with nonsense.

I'm being as sincere as possible so please count to 10 before you fire off some smart-assed remarks that are going to find you in over your head.

    Peace,

    Curtis

PS: Regarding item #3. The "expensiveness of everything" has nothing to do with being "good at photography". Don't confuse the two. And you haven't even begun to experience expensive, yet.

im not saying im good. by all means. im just trying to say that when you compare yourself to a friend that doesnt know anything about photography, not saying im better than anyone b/c theres always someone better than me and someone better than that person. i dont see my own work as anything special. just comparing myself to some of my friends that arent into photography and such.
