Yea, the only issue is that in NY the max tints allowed is 70%. At that rate its not even worth it.

Do you think it would be too dark at sunset?

    The tires are 225/40/18.
Light goes away fast around sunset, which is why fast lenses are key. Just getting there as the sun is going down though should give you enough light for good pics. Tripod will be a must, but for handheld shots, using the widest aperture possible is what you'll need to do.

Man for some reason your tire profile looks SO skinny...maybe it's because you went with 225s? You can put 245s on there in the future

Yea i can set my camera to 1000. Im just worried about the paint looking to purple and less red w/o a lot of light. I have a tripod, wide angle lense (used on these pics), and a telephoto.

I wanted wider tires, but my budget and subydude pricing only allowed for these 225 tires.

I'd advise against raising up your ISO if you can help it. If you manually set your aperture, set it to as low a number as it'll go and see if you can get a decent shutter speed. You should still be able to get a sharp picture handheld with a 1/30 shutter speed if your hand is steady enough.
