Finally finished editing & uploading my pics from the NHRA O'Rielly Spring Nationals in Houston, Tx. We were there Friday - Sunday (3/31 - 4/2) and shot close to 2000 photos. Couldn't do that back in my film days.
Anyway, most images have minor editing (noise ninja, PS - brightness & contrast; Thanks, Armin, for the input on a previously gallery).

The fumes will take your breath away, cause severe tearing of the eyes, etc. You build an immunity to it over time. But, it's cool as hell when they hit the throttle to set the clutch. The spectators all hop in unison from the sound. Reminds me of my punk rock days when the pogo was the dance of the day.
