Well, i've been wanting an evo/wrx for a while and since the evo's are marked up $9000 at my local dealer for no damn reason, I ended up with a WRX

A bit of a shock coming from entry-level luxury to a WRX. What's your impression?

Coming from a 2008 Subaru Outback Sport, the WRX is an upgrade in quality all around. But I know it is not up to the level of Audi or Mercedes by any means. And the ride is probably firmer/harsher than a BMW or Audi of similar performance.

Welcome! I did the same thing. '13 G37 (same thing) and got a '16 WRX. I also looked at EVOs (MR).
