    Grey area: many cars here have the fronts tinted and cops usually don't seem to care.

    Yeah my brother and I live in So.Cal and both have tint in the side front windows. Neither of us ever get pulled over for it here. He took a trip to Yosemite and got pulled over in Boron on his way back!! Cops don't have much to do up there apparently.....
