    My new 2015 STI

I traded in my 2013 WRX Hatch(Base Model) for the 2015 STI few days ago. Basically I brought my Hatch in for a 15k Mile Service(which would cost $400) and always told the techs that the clutch grabs very high, and it started getting hard to push the clutch in. The mechanic brought it for a ride and told me that there is deffinitly something wrong with the clutch but for us to tell we will have to tear it down and look at it and take pictures and send it to subaru and subaru either approves or denys the warrenty request based on these pictures. If they deny it I would have to pay $700 for them to tear it down and find the problem and a additional $1700 for a new clutch and repairs(at this point I was pissed). So as I was waiting for them to finish my service there was a blue 2015 STI sitting right in the front that was fully loaded it was only missing a moon roof, so I had the agent work his magic and see what we could do. In the end they gave me 25G for my WRX base model that had 15k miles on it. My montly payments went up 130 dollars and insurance went up 30 bucks plus subaru is going to cut me a check back for all the warrentys I had on my old car. It cost me $100 bucks out of my pocket to get into the STI that day instead of paying $400 for the service and eventually paying $2000+ for a new clutch. As much as I love my new car and its a blast to drive I do miss my hatch!!

As I was reading your post, it reminded me of my life haha. You have a camaro in the garage and we also have one in the family, well its my brothers. I'm also going from a wrb hatch to a 15 STI too. I am gonna miss my hatch as well.

My real question is, you said you got 25k for trade in value. If you don't mind, what was the msrp and sale price of the 15 sti.

The MSRP of the 2015 STi was $38,400.. Base model with the push button keyless entry, Hamron Karden, navi, OEM Door moldings as well. Subaru also lost my Q300 that came off my hatch back so they gave me a $1000 parts voucher, so I am ordering the front lip spoiler and rear spoiler.
