A Few Quick Pics After A Good Clean - WRX Hatch 08

    Morning All,

Decided to give the car a decent clean yesterday as the weather was pretty good (makes a change for the UK)
I used Bilt Hamber Snow Foam, followed by Bilt Hamber Auto Wash and finally polished with Bilt Hamber Cleanser Polish. (really impressed with this stuff)

Pics are only from an Iphone 5, but i am due to have a shoot done with a friend who is a professional photographer in the near future. (he has taken shots for Subaru WRC previously)

    What do you think?

    Regards,
    Rhys

Looks really nice. I was about to write "it looks nice for a 6 year old car", but really it looks new.

Are there any technical differences between a USA 08 and UK 08? (other than your mislocated steering device). I have the younger brother 2014 white hatch and I can see the obvious body differences and similarities. Your market intrigues me. The Cosworth edition? Holy Smokes!

    Hi,
    Thank you.
The car has 38k (miles) from new so its really tidy inside and out. It was a lucky find.
Im not really sure if there are any technical differences between the European and US version in terms of spec (guessing you have a compass in there somewhere?? )
The body shape certainly differs between the 08 and the newer ones as you point out. The newer model looks far more aggressive in a good way. Pretty sure the newer versions have more bhp as standard too. mines 230 bhp, soon to be 275.
The Cosworth edition is just bonkers!!
I have the Cosworth induction kit on this one and a 2.5 inch cat back exhaust through to a 4.5 inch slash cut tail pipe so it sounds lovely.
Its my first Impreza as i really was an Evo man growing up (shhh dont tell anyone) but having driven and owned some quick cars, this one really does put a smile on my face

Just had a look at your car!!! Wow!!
Now that is a vehicle and a half!

More modifications needed to mine after seeing that!

    Regards,
    Rhys

    Thanks Krisk,
It is a great colour as the satin looks great when its clean, but as pablo says, you do notice all the dirt, but i suppose that gives me an excuse to clean it!
