It was amazing when we checked this place out. The moment we got there we were pretty much like "yup, just found the gold mine".

Looks like fun. +100 on jealousy over your sweet spot.

As for feedback, coming from someone who does video production for the web (often for action sports) for a living -- keep it short and fast paced.

Use only your absolute best shots, change angles often. I love snow, I love drifting, I love Subarus... and there is no way in hell I'm going to watch a 8+ minute video about it unless it's Red Bull level professional quality eye candy. If I were to make something like this, it would be 90 seconds TOPS. Enough to be cool, not enough to require any real time investment. Don't bother with a title or credits. Put those in the description, if anywhere.

Cut clips aggressively, you don't always have to show the beginning and end of each thing. GoPros work way better for videos like this when they are used as bombproof little cameras rather than POV cameras... the shots where you can see the other car sliding are cool.... the others it's often hard to even tell the car is moving. Get out of the car, hold it up in the air, put it on the ground, have your buddy hold it out the window... variety is your friend.

    Good luck, have fun!

    Very nice!

I've found a few lots like that here in my neck of DFW. Just none that are too close to home.

Side note, is there anything worse than thinking you found an open lot and let her loose only to discover hidden speed bumps under the snow... talk about shock value!
