Just polished and waxed my new 2013 Plasma Blue WRX 5-door

I've owned my new WRX for just a couple weeks now and did a polish and wax job this past weekend using Blackfire products. I love their stuff. I also just got 22% tint installed last week. Enjoy!

I used Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish first, followed by a coat of Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection wax. The shine and "slipperyness" of the finished product is quite remarkable and I am more than pleased. I started with a clay bar before polishing, but since the paint was brand new, it just didn't need it, so I stopped after claying the hood. Next year I'll do a full clay bar, then polish and wax. I previously used Klasse products which are good as well, but Blackfire will be my new gold standard. It's very easy to apply and wipe off.

Looks great. Blackfire makes some nice stuff, I haven't used Wet Diamond in a while.

Your car looks great!! Blackfire Wet Diamond has been my favorite for a couple of years now. Unbelievable results for the effort required.

I agree! I just started using it and it's well worth every penny.

What did you use to polish with, porter cable, griots? Or did you do all this by hand.

He did a great job, I used to detail and I'm anal about stuff!

What wax did he use? I've become a huge fan of Klasse acrylic wax and paint sealant.

I think he said he used BFWD (Blackfire Wet Diamond).
