    newest car in the stable

well, yesterday it was finally time to get rid of betty sue.. the beloved 89 mustang that my dad fully restored. we first got her in 2007 after a tree fell on her during a hurricane. my dad did all the body work, motor work, interior, paint, etc himself. he put a LOT of blood sweat and tears into that thing.

but, now we welcome Josie to the garage. she is an 89 GT with 6k ORIGINAL miles. this car is spotless inside and out. sorry for the crappy pictures, i'll get better ones eventually

Ooh,hang on. That is the throb of a turbocharged flat four engine. A sound which, all over the world, heralds the imminent arrival of a moron - JC.

I'm most surprised with the condition of the interior.

Wow that thing is great. Does it have any mods on it? I can't really tell because I am not too familiar with old mustangs, but looking at the engine bay it looks like there are a few aftermarket goodies in there. I would love to pick something up like that with that low mileage and just keep it completely stock. Congrats!

Are you still talking about the car, or something else perhaps?

Just kidding. That line was ripe for the joke is all.

On another note, anybody following the Project Ugly Horse on Autoblog? It's in quite a contrast with Josie, thats for sure.
edit: (sorry if that's too much of a thread jack.)
