It's a Thule bike rack, not sure on the model since its my brothers. It's scissors open so you can adjust it for a hatch or sedan. Problem is I have it set high so the top cables dont pull the wing down and damage it. And being set high it only allows me to mount one bike instead of two, since the pedals of a second bike will scrape the hatch.

Being in South Florida, I'm sure our trails are no match for what you have in California. The trail I rode at yesterday is on Virgnia Key. It's one of the newest mountain bike trails in South Florida.

My bike is a 2012 Trek 3500 Disc. Been riding for a bit more than a year and a half, so I'm still pretty much an amateur when it comes to riding.

Beautiful! One question though. Is it still called mountain biking if there aren't any mountains?

LOL it's mountain biking any time you are riding a "mountain bike." You don't have to be in the moutains

    Looks like a fun trail!

It's the closest we can get to riding down a mountain here in South Florida. Now that have the hatch I plan on doing a bit more riding up north.
