Everything but the front doors have been done, and wow what a difference! No "tin" sound when opening the rear doors and the trunk anymore. And when it's raining, its nice and quiet
The doors have 2 layers on them, one on the inside of the outer skin and one to replace the OEM plastic dust cover on the inside

Sorry for the massive pics guys, not sure how to resize.......

Nice dude. I really want to install the Dynamat. How long did it take you to install it?

Partial exhaust is on. Only did the CBE as I don't have the AP yet.

I must say that I kind of like the dual tips, they stick out further than the stock tips and fill the opening pretty well.
I did run into a clearance issue with the rear portion of the heat shield hitting the exhaust, but nothing a slight modification with a hammer can fix

I was skeptical of the white rims, but they are starting to grow on me a little, but good news is they are only on during winter

Total time so far is around 10hrs I would say. This was my first time installing dynamat ever. It is extremely time consuming, but I got some nice summer/fall days, cracked a few beers, and just went to town.

Now came the fun stuff to install, Remote start baby!!!!!
Its hard to tell but the brain is behind the center console(fit perfectly), with the clutch relay bypass and 2 interface modules under the cup holders.
In case anyone wants to know you SHOULD use 2 bypasses, 1 for the factory alarm and 1 for the chipped key. Fairly easy install just lots of wires ya gotta keep straight. Also by doing it this way, the factory "beeper/buzzer" remains functional with the aftermarket system
The unit used is a Compustar 6000AS brain with the Drone Mobile system to start from a smartphone. I chose the Compu unit since I have been installing Viper systems for about 3 yrs now and lately there has just been weird issues with them and through work I got an awesome hookup with the Compu units.

As you can see, all the wires are concealed and nice and neat. I had a Master MECP installer look at this and was completely blown away with this install.

    Here's a teaser for the next add-on.
Now I know some are a fan and some aren't of this, either way its MY car so live with it.... hahaha seriously though any improvements/thoughts on this would be nice. My dad and I are building this from scratch. It's a long way from being completed but it will be awesome when finished. I chose to go this route as I did not want to pay over $300 for the rallyinnovations bar, since there is less than $30 worth of aluminum in this so far...

Toying with this idea of having "marker" lights on the light bar. not sure what color, but either white, red, or a amber color(to be somewhat legal)

    I Support ClubWRX
Looking good. I dynamat-ed the car too. I can have the sub on max & no rattles whatsoever. I did however leave out the headliner.

I have yet to add a sub or anything yet, but I do recommend doing the headliner in any car. Driving in the rain is so much quieter now

    Excellent!

Just FYI, the Cobb AP will not have maps for what your running. Unless your plan on using Tuner Race or getting an e-tune or Protune.

Thanks for the heads up on that! Out of curiosity is it because of the K&N?
