Will you be able to find a MAP for your AP to cover all of those parts? I'm still trying to straighten my plans out and was trying to see if there are any maps for the AP that includes an EBCS and a TMIC? I know the TBE and Intake are covered by the MAPs but the protuner I was talking to told me an EBCS needed a protune. He is also the only one I have heard that from thus far but I have also not heard anyone tell me otherwise.

    He is getting a protune.

But yes you are right...anything more than what the map notes state for an AP, requires more than an off the shelf tune. TMIC you should have a tune, though there is a lot of back and forth out there saying you don't need it. You won't gain benefits without tuning for it.

Correct...No off the shelf maps for me after this install. You can get e-tune through TP, however, I am either going to go through WTF (if they can do maps on the COBB this spring), or I will be getting the car pro-tuned on a dyno. The exact tuning route I go is undecided at this point, but it will be protuned

Nice, can't wait to see how it turns out for you. I think we might have talked about it in chat but the only thing keeping me from an AP as opposed to the dyno tune I'm planning is the EBCS I got waiting to go on with my parts for stage 2+.

Good to know! I will shoot you a message if I make it down there...Have you heard anything good/bad about them recently? Curious, I don't really hear much about them anymore, as I remember someone saying the guy who used to be the all-star tuner passed away back a while ago.

They still have the same guys working there from what I've heard, so their still top notch for installs and builds. And as far as tuning goes, last time I talked to their sales guy mike botti (stimikey, phatbotti, whatever else name he's known by) is doing all of their tuning. And there's nothing but praise when you do research on him. Theyre still one of the "places to go" if you need your Subaru tuned or an engine built.

I'll be going there eventually for my tune, the fact that it's 10 minutes away also doesn't hurt ha. But I'm pretty sure mikey is doing a lot of the tuning at shops in CT. efis dyno has some nickname cause it reads low, just an fyi.

But definitely let me know if your coming to CT! or have any other questions

Phatbotti/STI Mikey has always had a pretty good rep for tuning. IIRC he used to do a lot of tuning trips to different regions, which is how he's known.

Beatrush parts are gold...still wish I bought the tranny mount I had for sale a while back. We'll be in touch to finish the bushings soon...

Nice pickup, I installed most of those bushings expect I got the group N trans mount and the kartboy pitch stop but still made a big difference.
