Mine was only a few months old from the factory so I used my air tools, figured that Locktite was gonna be strong still. Try using PB blaster and let it soak. If you don't have something proper like that then just put some wd40 on, let it sit for a minute. Then wrench on it

Sounds so good man! Is the "boom" inside the cabin bad? A lot of hatch drivers i talked to, mainly with the SPT exhaust, say it can be a bit obnoxious at low rpms. I definitely want to be able to hear the exhaust but don't want a chronic headache!

There is a little noise coming from cabin. none of the back fire noise in cab either. Its def louder than stock but no where near giving me a headache.

I have the SPT exhaust just recently installed and i can attest to the drone in the cabin. If you drive it properly though, it wont annoy yourself and passengers. I shift to neutral when I am coasting to a stop as to not have low RPM on the exhaust because thats when its terrible for the loudness inside the car. It is a little louder than I thought it would be though.
