Recieved my OEM roof rack with Yakima front loader

My oem racks came today. Kinda nervous about them because they flex SO bad with my bike on top. Anyone know if I will be ok?

I have the OEM bars as well and after watching them flex I was nervous as well. My prior car was an Audi A4 and their OEM bars were crazy solid so coming to this is a bit unnerving. Haven't had any other problems though.

Yeah, I had my two mountain bikes on this past weekend and it did OK. I just take it easy around town. I just got my in no fairing in yesterday. I will add some pics when I get the chance

How do you like the inno faring? How difficult is the install?

I like it. I think I need to adjust some. It taps the roof slightly while on freeway. I love the look of it though. Pretty easy install.

You cab remove them. They are great. They flex a lot though. That is the only complaint. they can be removed and installed in about 5 min.

just put mine on a few weeks ago and have hauled my bike about 1000 miles so far with no problems. i like it alot

How high do those oem bars sit off the rooftop? Can one of you guys do me a huge favor and measure the height of the foot pack and/or the distance from bar to top of roof? I am hoping to get the lowest profile bars possible, but the OEM ones seem a bit tall....

I measured and mine shows about 3 1/2" on the front and 3 3/4" on the rear.
