2002 wrx impreza 5 speed, posting here for updates

Well I am posting for my girlfriend, she owns a 2002 5 speed wrx impreza, she has had it since sept. 2011. I drive it when ever she comes over, it has tinted windows, she just tinted the tailights two weeks ago with vht, 30000k purple hids, pioneer 12" sub with a sony amp (i will be fixing the wires soon, different size power and ground), and she has her blow off vavle upside down. oh and her sticker she just got "REAL CHICKS DRIVE STICK"

Car needs a little work, maf sensor, tires are very loud. other then that runs good, my first subie I have driven, I love mitsubishi mirages, and evo's so this is a fun car to drive, as quick as my saab was and my parents saab.

I'm part of mirageforums.net, blazer forum, saab forums, etc etc.

The wrx looks nice! It's seems to be well taken care of at least. There may be some issues but it seems like those are easily fixed. Your girlfriend has a nice Wrx!

No idea they had a blazer forum lol.

I say to each their own but i saw the pictures and it isnt really all that bad, actually liked it and does seem to be well maintained. Personally i would never tint the tail light because i know how frustrating it can get behind some one with tail light tint in traffic and have to pay that much more attention to if theyre slowing down or not.

Keep up the good work! Progress good or bad is still progress. My broke ass cant do anything yet but make payments lol.

Edit: by tail light tint i mean smoked. My tails have red tint and dont seem to be blocking much light. Here i go sounding hypocritical.

oh and as for the tinted tailights, she didn't make the coats thick, some cars are so black you almost slam them because you can't see there tail lights. You can see her brake lights perfect

Small little update, tempted to for the bov right side up, some piping got in the way, moved the power wire for the amp to the drivers side, left rca's and remote on passenger side, tried to figure out why the cd player is interfering with the ground for the amp.

Brandi took off some of the labels, saw a subie at walmart in my town that looked like the person did the same thing, so she wanted to do it, now she took off some paint so wants a new trunk or a sti trunk


me pulling her car in the garage to work on it the other day.


today's plans are to take out the glove box and take out the white DRL plug so her hids aren't on all the time.

and might try to do the short throw shifter as well.

Update, DRL's are off now, pulled clip out, and the short shift throw is in, helped 4th gear not grind for about ten mins, now it is back to grinding, but the shifter is nice and firm
