Drive Hard, Stay Driven..
Teflon I have to slightly disagree with you on a couple fronts. 1. Mobil 1 is known to run good in some of these cars and miserable in others so that isn't really the best option for many. Also, I run 0W30 but it is an oil that is rated (through analyses) above most oils out there. I have run Mobil 1 (junk in my motor) Rotella (feels awesome but burns like crazy) and now GC and the GC is incredible. Bob the oil guy seems to agree even though it isn't the recommended weight.
Also, if you can't tell your motor is running smoother then you aren't paying attention. Does that mean its running mechanically better? No, but I can tell if my motor is running smoother.
ps - I am pretty sure that 0W30 is in my acceptable range through Subaru but it isn't the first choice, yet I think its a better one and many would agree
This guy makes sense! I think Subaru engineers know a little more about which oil works best in their engines, I'd take their word over, insert random name here > __________ on a forum. They are obligated to give you a perfectly working engine for 3-5 years depending on warranty, so clearly it would be in their best interest to do serious research before they recommend the correct oil for these cars.

Performance:
Wrong DP.
Wrong coilovers.
Wrong wheels.
Wrong links.
Aesthetics:
Looks great.....well, except the mudflaps, pin-striping, and ebay lip.
As for the argument about whether people should be judgmental about your mods:
If you don't want opinions about your car, don't post pics of it on the internet. ....Duh!!
