What pressure do you guys think the OEM BPV can handle safely? 16 seems a bit low since stage 1 + sf intake on 91 octane peaks at 16 and I havent seen any troubles yet.. And stage 2 is 17 psi. I was thinking somewhere around 18, 18.5 psi should be the safe limit, or what do you think?

Unfortunately, you're "pushing it" at even Stage 1 levels. This comes from a VERY reputable tuner.

BPV wasn't a waste of $$ 08+ oem is garbage cody

This is news to me. After reading countless threads on not changing the bpv unless you go above 20psi, I completely scratched it off my list. So what is recommended as a good replacement and do you need to mod anything else after changing it?

No, it was great. It's just too tall now. I added the PW TMIC, which moved and raised the location of the BOV. I couldn't close my hood, so I had to go with a very low profile one.

Did you have to mod any other part of the car? Also I thought the hybrids were bad for our cars?

Nope, no mods needed for a BOV. If you're concerned about running it as a hybrid, you can just screw in the block off plate, which makes it full recirculating. I tried both, and both worked fine....hybrid setup was louder of course.

I ran an AVO 380 turbo at 18psi on the stock BPV with no problems. Then I switch to the GFB hybrid ran on 50/50 and that worked good for a couple years then when I got the 20G it started leaking, so now I run the Cobb XLE on full recirc and so far its the beast one I have owned yet.
