    Been awhile...friend Alan's Do-Luck Evo 8!

Haven't posted a car shoot in awhile on here! Last Sunday night, my friend Alan and I decided to go take photos of his freshly washed Evo 8. Here's a link to all the photos first and foremost:

I also took the opportunity to take a few photos that really show the difference between using different apertures, and I'll post them here below. Please take notice of how the depth of field changes, with the wider aperture making things more blurry and the smaller aperture putting everything more in focus, as well as creating more of a starburst effect with the background light sources:

    85mm @ 1.4:

    85mm @ 4:

    85mm @ 8:

If anyone has any questions regarding this and/or shooting at night, please don't hesitate to post up!

Nice! Awesome shots! That car looks pretty sweet too! I bet you could make my Jetta look good in a picture, lol.

Cool pictures, I love the black and white one, and that's really interesting how the aperture changes the shots that much- I don't know which I like better, the f1.4 or the f8.

The f1.4 almost makes the car look 3d.

Great shots, love that glass too, it's a killer lens. What was the time of exposure on the second shot? What body you shooting with?

Sick pictures... love the shallow depth of field. I'm also very jealous of your lens! That first picture looks like it could be a great one for some color splash... either b&w or super desaturated background with the car mostly desaturated and the red highlights popping could look pretty sweet.
