I've seen a few seats on Craigslist, but I think I might just go with some Corbeaus. I've heard nothing but good things about them.
Cool sounds like 5 pts wont be a problem then.

In my old car I had Corbeau Targa RS seats. I liked them, they were nice, but when I got them brand new they stunk as in smelled bad.

A td04 turbo can make good DD power. Hell I'm still stock turbo just protuned. They are rebuildable, so you can send yours to Blouch I believe to get rebuilt. There are also options when rebuilding it to get a little more power. You can swap the compressor wheel out to a 19T and have a lot of fun. PM DOnkey on here if you have any questions, hes an expert.

    ****update****

After starting here (thank you) --> EJ207 - Yes or No?

and ending up here (thank you again!) --> I Need Opinions

I finally made a decision and bought this

(EJ257 < 10,000 miles on it) this morning.

I should also be picking up this

(1994 Wrangler) this weekend, which will inevitably turn into another project after

    (large paperweight) is done.

At least now I can take my time and do it all myself.

All is well. Thank you all for the help! I will keep you posted.

    Sparkly paint to come.

Less than 10,000 miles on it as far as I'm told. It looks pretty clean, so I almost believe it. Picking up the Jeep for $2000 either tonight or Sunday (unless it's a total piece of shish, which I don't think it will be.)

As far as I know nothing. I picked it up off e-bay from someone with 100% feedback who sells tons of engines. I just happened to find one nobody was bidding on and I got it for the reserve. Even if something is wrong with it it's totally worth it to me. Made my decision easier, that's for sure.

If it's broken, at least now I have time to fix it.

Sorry I haven't updated this thread in awhile. I started a new job and things are crazy! I ended up not buying that Jeep because it was a POS so I'm still driving the rental car BUT.. progress is being made on my car.

    I've gone from this:

    To this:

    So this:

    will be the next project.

    What was left behind?

    Uhm.. eew.

All that nastiness aside... I am now the proud owner of this:

This thing is so clean it's hard to believe I got it for so cheap. It definitely has less than 10,000 miles on it!

Right now everywhere you turn inside and outside of the house you see parts.. and more parts:

I feel so bad for my car.. just waiting..

    and I really miss it.

Still a lot on the list, but getting there!

Tomorrow hopefully I get a lot done and have more to report.

Anyone else notice that 2/3 of the new girls on here have ripped way further into their cars in a few months than we ever did in 10 years? Pretty sweet.

    Getting there...

    Fuel pump is in.
    Turbo back exhaust is done.
    Engine is in.
    Sensors have been swapped over.
    New drive shaft installed.
    New steering rack installed.
Engine bay pressure washed, sanded, primered and re-painted.
    New uppipe in.
    New battery in.
    Transmission cooler installed.
    Aluminum radiator in.
Replaced all fluids and filters - difs, oil, transmission, coolant, steering, waiting on brakes until I get some brembos
Franken swapped intake manifold (STI TGV's, WRX manifold/throttle body)
Air intake silencer removal - made a pseudo cold air intake using the stock air box.
    Replaced transmission cooler lines.
and probably a bunch of stuff I forgot about because I'm tired.

Still need to make a few adjustments on the intake manifold before it can go in. But once that's on and I stick on all the hoses and connect a few things I'm ready for tuning.
