    New 2012 DGM WRX Hatch

Here's my new 2012 Dark Grey Metallic WRX Hatch. It's the base model with just a few odds and ends added to it (All-weather mats, Auto-dimming compass mirror, rear bumper cover, trunk cargo tray, armrest extension, roof aero bars with INNO fairing, and STi short throw shifter). I included this list simply for anyone who has questions about each option, that's all. The car's been fantastic so far, I just crossed the 1,000 mile marker about a week ago and got to open it up a little bit, and it's an amazing car to drive. I just changed the oil after the first 1,000 too and put in some Mobil 1 synthetic and a Purolator PureOne filter, which was a fun experience getting the factory filter off. Also, if anyone has any questions on how to do that, I've got a few suggestions. I don't plan on doing any performance upgrades, the car has just as much power as I'd like and I'm planning on using this car until I can't find a reason to drive it anymore, so I'm doing everything in my power to make it last. But I'll peruse the forums if/when something does go wrong to hopefully fix it, as this place has a wealth of knowledge on the car and really is a great resource of good people. Without further ado, here's a couple pictures I took after washing her this morning. Hope you enjoy, I'll include some better ones later when I'm out and about with my camera.

So many say that ... and then the mod bug bites ...

Looks great - DGM is the fastest color, so performance mods are optional anyway. Have fun!

Ha thanks, it was between the grey and blue, but I just really like the sleek look of the grey a bit more. The only mod bug that has already taken a bite is for audio inside. The Pathfinder that I just traded in for this had a great sound system in it, and the WRX's isn't terrible, but it's not great in my opinion either. I'm still in the process of reading around on here and a couple other places about a good replacement system, be it the deck, the speakers, or both. If anyone has any good ideas on the matter or experience, feel free to let me know your thoughts, it'd be greatly appreciated. Other than that, it's just going to be my bike/skis on the roof and that's about it.
