    hey Andy,

great photos mate, where in England was this? It looks like a lot of the northern clubs and i saw the road sign for Darlington in one of the pics. I went to many meets in England but never a scooby one up north, I did all the ones at Silverstone and Santa Pod as they were on my doorstep.

    Reminiscing.....

anyways great pics and looks like a great day

if you look again that engine kinda just "lays" in there, not a bad idea tho, rather p206 than a Cooper

you're right something doesn't look right about the way the engine is sitting. If was fitted properly and set up for AWD, that would be a fun little car to fly around in.

The peugeot is owned by Eclipse Performance in Sunderland U.K.

to quote them from another thread:
"I know a few of you saw this at the NBO, but I thought the rest of you might like to see it. It's a Peugeot 206 World Rally Car built on a 1998 Impreza floor pan!

It runs full subaru engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes, wiring etc.... So essentially it's a 206-aru! It has plexiglass side 7 rear windows, and all the body panels are either fibreglass, kevlar or carbon so it's not the heaviest thing either!

Were planning on building a big power EJ22 CDB and entering it next seasons Time Attack Series.

    What do you think?

(Ignore the wheels- they were just to move it around!) "

well yeah, all the WR cars have same outer dimensions so you can do that switcharoo to any 97-10 wr homologated vehicle, and 01-05 in case of Mitsu.

the question is - what zee hell for?

I think this could be a contender in the time attack series, the power to weight ratio must be impressive, and I would really like to have ago in it myself.

those crazy northerners, what will they think of next.
