Proud New Owner of a 2007 WRX! (stage 2 as of yesterday)

at the age 24 i have Finally found the car of my dreams! Picked it up completely stock (except for rims, tint and gauges) on 06/06 with a 23k miles. I think i'm in love..

    Mods as of last weekend:
Invidia Divorced Wastegate Downpipe, Cobb Cat Back, Cobb Heat shield, GrimmSpeed 3 port solenoid, snorkus delete (elbow comping soon), K&N drop in, Prosport boost/oil temp gauges, and Front/ rear strut bars. (all mods installed at home)

91 octane conservative stage 2 pro-tune. Target boost set at 17.5psi

Photos of stage 2: (still have an exhaust leak, planning on taking it in to a muffler/exhaust shop tomorrow)

So called some exhaust shops around the salt lake city area,. what a waste of time. Decided to fix the leak myself. Was able to solve the turbo/dp leak with a new gasket. (was told the stock one could be reused,. maybe true for the donut gasket but not the turbo gasket)

Depending on the shape of the gasket, they can be reused; just recreate the "lip" to help it seal.

Either way, congrats on the purchase

I love the car - looks great. Outside appearance hides the power that lies beneath. You should have some fun surprising any challengers. Enjoy!

that in my hand is a 3 port GrimmSpeed boost solenoid.. It replaces the two port stock wastegate solenoid and does away with the "T" connector and restrictor pill.

lol its all for the love of the car! Most recently i have installed a STI TMIC and also had a bung welded into my downpipe pre-cat for "True" wide-band readings for pro tuning. While the downpipe was off i went ahead and wrapped it with exhaust wrap to reduce heat soak as much as possible. Was debating on getting an intake but decided against it until the day comes that i want over 300 whp. For now I'm happy with my TD04

EDIT: Forgot to say, I also had clear bra installed on the front of the car. 18in up the hood and fender to fender across the front. Lights are covered as well as vertical surface of side mirrors. Now when i'm on the freeway (60 miles a day commuting to work and back) i still cringe when a rock hits my car but now at least i know everything is pretty much protected. Best investment ever!

Thank you! Currently running 18in PIAA rims. They are a little scuffed up but otherwise in good shape. They came with the car. When i replace them with wheels for the winter i will bring them to a wheel shop to have them fixed up.
