    I had a guy make me paint his 63 corvette with flat clear. It almost killed me to do so. (In fact, I think I may be short one testicle because of the inner torment.)
    If it is a wild enough paint job, the flat clear can look good. -but not great-

    Flat pant CAN look good, but not on econoboxes or Asian imports and only when it's a professional job (meaning no uneven coats like in this case).

    I'd at least paint a badge black or something. Having nothing there looks really bad. Can't say I'd even do it unless my paint was really bad. My car is 12 years old and the paint still is presentable, I can't imagine what possessed you to do this.

    You can see the rattle can overspray on the driver's side headlight and it looks like he put some rubbing compound on it to remove it and rubbed too hard...

    Wow... so much hate for the flat black.

    I think its looks super sick... people just like to rag on something different. I'd definitely throw the emblems back on though. Looks pretty odd without them.
