Here is my ride that I've had for a week. Cannot wait to mildly modify her!

Super clean! Where did you get the red wrx lettering? I really dig that, its subtle but sticks out just enough to give the look some spice.

I did the emblems myself. I'll take close-up pics of the emblems soon enough. I used high-quality enamel (GM Color code Victory Red) with a very-fine brush. 7 coats each front and back. I did the Asymmetrical in red while the backing is still in chrome, while the AWD is in black enamel.

I like to be different, even if it's very subtle differences.

I think it's worth it because the seats have WRX in red, so why not the emblems?

I'm going to figure out a way to dye the WRX on the mats red as well. I have a whole plethora of colors of dye at work (I'm a professional detailer )

I did the emblems while on the car. I don't recommend if you don't have a steady hand or if you drink a lot of coffee haha.

my mats dont have any lettering though.. they're just plain black.

Masking tape is for amateurs! ahah jk jk. Are your mats factory WRX ? Maybe it's an option in Canada.

yep, factory. Its a 2010 with a build date of 7/09.

There are similar to these, and my car has a similar build date. Hmmm. Wonder if the factory forgot yours and added normal ones?

wow, yeah mine dont look like that at all. The drive side mat has two holes that retain it (matching the retaining device on the floor) as well as not having the tabs that extend rearward on the edges.. my rear ones look similar in shape but all 4 are more of a weft tougher fabric than the plush ones in your pic. .. hmm.. odd. I'll have to pop em out of the car and shoot a pic so you can see what I mean.

I declined the detail when I bought the car, so I pulled the mats out of the plastic and put them in myself. The vin matching mine was on the stickers/packaging of the mats. Dunno.. it is odd though.

Dip a paint brush in the dye and paint around the white part of the WRX.

Sorry took so long to get back to this.. these are my mats, shot this a couple weeks ago when I pulled em out to clean/vac em.
