Hey everyone, I've been MIA for a while, so just thought I'd stop in and leave a couple photos from the last couple of months. Just got a new Sigma 10-20mm. So I'm hoping to get some new shots of the car since the weather is getting better.

Thank you! That's pretty much how I've done and learned all my photography. Never took classes or anything. Just Google for tips and information. Then trial and error on the camera. Hoping to purchase lightroom soon to help me out with some post processing touches.

Same here. I was taught darkroom developing basics back in the 1990's by a friend, and figured out the rest with a million screwups. Digital photography has been all goofing around and getting ideas from watching what real photogs do.

I never touched darkroom or film(besides disposable) because I was born in 1989 and didn't really start getting into photography until mid-high school years(2004-2007) haha Messed around with a crappy digital point and shoot for a little bit, then picked up my Nikon D60. Digital just gives you the opportunity to create anything you want. Just have to learn as you go. And yes, just looking at the way things have already been done by "pros" helps greatly with new concepts.

i took photography class in HS and we actually had to take the disposible film out of the little thing and roll it onto a reel thingy and develop it in a dark room & stuff. it was super cool. :]

That's sounds pretty sweet! isn't it pretty hard to unroll those? my buddy had to use my pitch black closet once so he could fix his jammed film roll.

uh yeah! we had to go into a dark closet also. it took FOR-EV-ER to unroll them & roll them onto the new reel. i seriously hated that part lol
