Looks like that driver was either blind or drunk .I like the guy parked next to him(Nissan Sentra?).For all the space in the world he had to join him.Or maybe the Nissan was parked that way to begin with & the Mazda decided to one up on him?

I have to one day post a pic of my parking experiences.Each time I park on the outside of an empty parking lot to avoid dings ,some imbecile comes & parks alongside me!

I often park like that. I always do that at the outskirts of the parking lot, where there are ample extra spaces, but I park catty-wompus often. I figure, if it took me over a month to do all of the bodywork to make the thing perfectly smooth, and over 30 coats of paint to get the finish that I wanted, aint no freak going to door ding me.

I think it's acceptable in the outskirts of the parking lot. That's where you will most likely find my suby. Trying to avoid door dings. On the other hand, I don't care for those who like to take 2 "prime" spaces.

Is a stock Mazda 3 "premium" enough of a luxury car to really car about a knick or too? Maybe I'm desensitized having owned Subarus that were basically painted with water colors and always have tons of chips.

I've found that cars on the outskirts are magnets for other cars for some reason. I just do my best to find a spot between two people who parked between the lines, with perfect straightness and symmetry, and park between the lines myself. I figure if they took the care to park properly then there's a good chance that they'll respect my sheet metal when they open their doors.
