What size and offset are those, what size are the tyres you are using now, and how has handling changed?

Wheels should never stick out past the fenders.

18x9.5 +38

Tires are Dunlop 245/40's

White on WRB is def my goal as well

hopefully next year sometime.. I was looking at the OZ ultraleggeras, but for some reason white is the *only* color they dont have on tirerack... All links I found for white ones were from other countries.

Why? I mean some people go a little over board with the offset, but this looks nice!

Is there a mechanical reason to not do so? or just a personal preference?

As long as there is no contact with the fender lip no matter the travel, the mechanical reasons not to do this are not related to the fender itself, but rather to the forces developed in relation to the altered offset, especially as the suspension travels, and to how geometry is affected.

Incidentally, most motorsports I can think of at "our" level (amateur) require fenders to cover the wheels.

Thanks for the info. I figured that you wouldn't want your wheel to travel up into your fender lol So in essence if this person were to do the coil overs they might have almost virtually no room for suspension travel and have to hope that there are no bumps in the road, and quite possibly not be able to do any kind of hard turning because the body roll would put the fender on the tire?

As far as the mechanics and physics of the suspension and stuff, i'm sure we could start quite the lengthy conversation. So i'll leave it at another thanks for the information.
