    Allas-Main Wedding

Today marks the 271st day in a row where temperatures did not reach above 75 degrees in Seattle, but thankfully for the Allas-Main wedding on June 12th, it sure came as close as it ever did throughout this cold weather streak. The skies cleared up after a week of depressing rainfall for the outdoor wedding at Parsons Garden, located just west of Kerry Park on Queen Anne in Seattle. Iíve known Erik and Tana for over eight years, and I was deeply honored to be asked to help photograph their wedding. I split the duties with their other photographer friend, each taking different duties for the ceremony and reception. This helped ease pressure on me, so I was able to definitely enjoy myself more than I typically would. I primarily relied on my trusty Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 VR lens for most of the wedding shots, then my Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8 and Tokina 12-24mm f/4 for the formals and reception at China Harbor on Westlake Avenue in Seattle. We simply could not ask for better conditions, making this wedding a great way to kick off the summer wedding season. Congratulations again to Erik and Tana!
