    Delaware "the first state" has by far the ugliest plate,with the new NY plate a close second(devoid of all art work) .The NY plate is supposedly golden & black but it looks yellow & black to me.

    I agree, NY plates look ugly I'm glad I don't live there anymore, those plates look like taxi cab plates IMOP

    I think its 35%. Not too dark you can see at night with out a problem and it keeps the sun out during the day.
