HA! Those pics are awesome. The first and last parrots totally have the shifty eyes. And the rhino is like "just....cant....go....on".

    Those macaws are gorgeous.

I love the Hyacinth Macaws(blue in the middle of the set), but I just don't have the time, energy or $10k to devote to having one as a pet...

    Very nice pictures!

    I LOVE the zoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice pics, Dez. But what, no otter pics??

Do you guys get the 'cold weather' animals down there, like giant pandas? I know they don't in Texas because it's so hot, wondering if FL is the same?

well, my batteries died so i couldnt take many pictures. i did snap one of an otter there was only ONE and he was hidden in a tank so the picture came out like crap:

that big brown blob is the otter

but yeah. we didnt have any pandas, lions, bears (oh my!), or anything like that. 90% of the animals were actually birds

Wow. I guess I'm a little spoiled. The Philadelphia Zoo is one of the finest(and THE oldest) on the east coast.

Polar bears are teh win! Huge primate reserve: gorillas, chimps, orangutans, lemurs, & monkeys. We have lions, tiger & bears. Oh my!

    No pandas though...

That was a coyote, not a wolf in your pics right?

Yay, otters! Haha they are my fave! But I swear, most of the time the hardest animal to capture a picture of at the zoo because of their elusive nature, they're constantly moving, and they're always put behind flash-unfriendly glass in a dark enclosure!

Wow, not even lions or bears?? What kind of "zoo" is this??? Then again, you live in Florida! You just go out in your backyard and you have lizards and alligators and tropical birds and bobcats and even manatees!

lol it was the best zoo we have in my area surprisingly! (unless you want to spend 60 dollars and go to disney's animal kingdom.. which is actually really awesome)

& it was actually a red wolf in the picture. they were so cute!

Ahhh. We have Grey(Timber) Wolves. It looked too small to be one, so now it makes sense.
