Does anyone have one? the new one that shoots video.
    If so is it awesome.
I have a Canon XH-A1 but i think it would be really sweet to have video on my still as well and all the videos of it ive seen so far look awesome. I have an xti right now with like 10 lenses so im thinking about getting rid of it for a 5D.

Pic kinda related, its a video still from my XH-A1

I use a Canon SX 10is that rocks. It does video as well and has a 20X zoom that can reach out and touch someone!

Here is a sample of the zoom...

    Macro shot...

Apature shots to blur the backround...

You can also use the color enhancement mode for some cool shots, like what I did with my old skool Suzuki GSXR here... Reds are enhanced in this shot...

    Again, enhanced reds....

And a shot of the WRX....

For the price, am impressed with what this camera can do. I also use it at track days that I do with sport bikes and really like the features and zoom capabilities.

Funny thing. I had a 5d mark II on order since the end of last year and then canceled when I bought the WRX. My 20d still works fine.

ADR Venomous style wheels. 17" I had one guys from this site tell me they were the ugliest wheels he ever saw, but I like them and get compliments on them all the time!

I believe you're referreing to the Canon 5D MkII. In a more affordable bracket is the Canon Rebel T1i introduced today. Info at PDNPulse: Canon Rebel T1i Shoots HD Video & High-Res Photos

The 5D MkII retails for $2699. The new Rebel kit is $899.

    Peace,

Im shooting a documentary on White tailed deer for school so i was filming dead ones on the side of the road it was an accident that my car was in the shot (it was video) so i just thought it looked cool.

    and...
holy **** on that Rebel T1i. thats dope. Only one question... is it full frame? or is it still the cropped 1.6 like the old rebels. i really want full frame.

Any news on the news firmware for the 5D?

No, the latest update on Canon's bebit page is 01/09:

Firmware Update Version 1.0.7 improves and mitigates the following two types of image quality phenomena that occur under certain shooting conditions.

    1. "Black dot" phenomenon (the right side of point light sources become black)
    2. Vertical banding noise
