    Do you still have the stock turbo with the new TMIC?

    For now,

    I've been doing it in steps, should be doing a little project come January...

    Didn't get it with thoughts of keeping the stocker for long, though even if I got a DP and a tune the new IC would have it's merits then too...

    Did you get a power gain with the IC? Or did it just make it laggy?

    Honestly neither, and I didn't really expect any before stage 2 and or a tune...

    I have noticed that the air brought in is a couple degrees cooler than with the stock one...

    nice i/c, my question is what did u to the plastic shroud thing directing the flow of air onto to the top of the i/c from the hood scoop, did u have to remove, cut, or just leave it there??? thanks.....

    ::Edit::

    I lied, didn't have to change the shroud for the airflow, it was a cover near the intercooler that had to be removed (or trimmed)...

    Haha Right there it was little more off than usual because I had just taken off the gauge shroud, but honestly I like it there and a little crooked...

    Sitting in the seat it works well with the curve of the dash...

    Yeah, in the end it's not a final location because I plan on running more than just a boost gauge but there are few options for us 08ers right now...
