    your Type R sub should not be running "free air" those subs are not designed for that

    hopefully you haven't ran that for too long. on a side note what yellow top model batt is that? and what did you do to get it installed? I was told that they will only fit with some heavy modification, like the cables are not long enough.

    its been a while on the sub but it doesnt seem to be having any problems. im not sure the model on my yellowtop as its a few years old but to install it i just took out the black plate that holds the old battery. it took some tugging but it fits

    cool to read. usually those subs don't like free air running. So did you make a new bracket to hold the battery in?

    i didnt make a bracket it just sits on the space the old battery was. because of its size it wont move so no bracket is needed. ill take some more photos of it this weekend along with the model number so you can check that out.
