Very cool. These cars are fairly light for what they are, which makes them pretty easy to go fast. I am currently in the process of a '85 Utah SSP resto. One of 25, if my understanding is correct. Last year carbed, with the roller block... Is your dad's car going to be a driver, or is it mostly strip?

Im actually a decent fan of this car. Im sure the RCI seats are a "for now" thing. Seats are something you can do later but he probably wanted to get it on the road.

I personally wouldnt of went from FI to Carb, I would of probably taken the motor/trans rebuild money and sourced a newer Cobra engine trans and harness from LKQ.

It is nicely done, nice color, not overly done and gawdy.

Since he went carb tho, Id probably look into PROCHARGER. Which is essentially a VORTECH supercharger kit for Carburated vehicles.

I have always been a fox body fan - notch even better

I have a '90 GT - that I have had for about 10 years - it was supercharged - I keep changing things around (than changing back) & finally blew the motor - so I bought a new block & started the rebuilt - purchased a turbo kit for it (T76) - than got divorced - put the car in my dads name (just to be save) - & its been sitting in my dads garage ever since - 1 day I will totally rebuilt it from top to bottom

    anyway awesome car

The thing looks really nice. You did a great job.
I would run the thing to death and then put in whatever change is going on in the engine compartment. Get the usage out of all of those parts. Yagotta drive the thing and enjoy it after all the time, effort and money put into it.
Unfortunately I am a big centerline guy and like the looks of the old wheels.
