My Old Car + New Car in AWESOME night photo shoot

Light painting FTW - another user (new owner of my old car, WRXMUCH) and I got together last night for some beers and Bonnaroo discussion - decided to take a few shots! (photos + jack daniels)

1) Include more than 2 photos,
2) Not be based entirely on photochopped pics, and

is it just me or does the blobeye in the first picture look like a convertible because of the lighting? haha

I think that the pics are pretty cool, myself.

Geez, you youngsters don't know how to do anything if you don't have Photoshop open in front of you, do you?

Long exposure, and run around the car with a bright flashlight, move it, run around it again.You can see a ghost of him here and there in the images.

i think the 1st pic would look really sweet without the white outer lines. but it is cool nonetheless. what would an STI look like as a convertable?

Yeah guys - Ray nailed it -

Just had a led flashlight and traced the lines of the car throughout our 30 sec exposure.

NO photoshop was used at all except to darken the edges of the photo (to make the subject stand out more)

what kind of lighting is it pre-pic? is it completely dark and then the flashlight lights up the car? or is there some sort of ambient light that is shining?

The '06 in the first pic looks wrecked as a result of the lighting. You should give it another try, maybe try a more interesting location to shoot as well.

I agree - this wasn't a planned shoot - more like a "hey, we're drinking lots of liquor, we ought to take some crazy looking night pictures of our car. Too bad we're too drunk to drive somewhere cool"

we're definitely gonna do it again somewhere else.
