    Car looks great from what I can see. I love the red.



    Nigh time photos are hard. You probably need a tripod to get really good night photos and play with the settings a bit.

    08 has a little more power - 305, but has more user friendly settings available with the SI drive, more power at lower RPM's and a few other neat goodies.

    to the OP, as mentioned, longer shutter delay and tripod will enhance your night picture ability.

    well since the old sti has 293 with new sae hp, new one having 305 is 18 more hp, that must be nice.

    One of the members of our local club is a salesman at a Subaru dealer. He surprised us with the new STi at a regular dinner meet. None of us were prepared and fondling the car was much more satisfying than trying to take pictures of it.

    The funny thing is, this thread was more to show that i got to fondle the new STi. Some of you got it, others fail at picking up sarcasm. Thanks for the tips anyway!

    I was at the Tracy Subaru dealership in CA and they had an STi in the showroom with the 18" BBS wheels.

    Man, I though it was hopeless to like it, but in person it was really nice and the interior was great to. really fancy and what not, but it felt nice.

    you're pretty lucky there!
    too bad the price tag is around $40k
