    Had Some Pictures Featured in a Magazine

    I entered some pics in a photo competition for the North Carolina Wildlife magazine a while back and the issue came in the mail yesterday and I won third place in the mammals category for a picture of a bobcat and had another picture of seagulls on a ferry featured as the table of contents image (biggest picture in the whole mag!) out of 5000 entries. Im pretty excited because this is the first time Ive ever won anything for my photos and not to mention I get $100 check for 3rd place too. Heres the photo that won me $100 in the magazine....as for the other pic featured it took up a page and a half in the mag and was too big to scan but heres the original photo that i entered. Just thought I'd share

    We have a snapshot of the day thread. It's pretty much become our general "post up whatever" photo thread. Guess I could sticky it, for funsies.
