I know this is offtpoic , butif you where 1% body fat you'd be dead. Anything under 5% is very rare and very unhealthy. Bodybuilders are usually around 5%, and even at that cant stay there for too long. IIRC, one of the lowest bodyfat measurements ever calculated was around 3%, maybe a but less and in was on a cadaver Also depends on how you calculate it (calipers the most common, bioelectrical impedence are a bit unaccurate, and hydrostatic weighing is probably the most accurate), but you're not 1%.

this was a stand on weight scale that you stand on barefoot it has metal pads. this was also like three years ago. i'm sure i have more, and like you said, it obviously wasn't that accurate anyways. lol i like having my own thread. it's not offtopic. we can go wherever we want with it. thanks for the info, now i won't look like a moron next time someone asks me what my body fat is.....wait.....

haha, yea I kinda figured it was one of those stand on scales. The reason it is highly unaccurate is that it fluctuates with your body temperature, your hydration level and alot of other factors. So in order to get accurate readings you would need to play close attention to all those factors everytime you were getting measured.
