    My first landscape attempt

    I drive by this place maybe once a month and I have always wanted to try and take a nice photo of it. This weekend I had a computer job up that way and had my camera on me because I planned to take some pictures of my RC race truck. I pulled over and only spent about 10 minutes composing and shooting because it had to be 0 degrees out and windy as hell. Anyway here are the shots.

    Thanks guys. I want to go back there at sunset with a tripod and try again soon. Seems like everyone likes #3 so here is a bigger version so you can see more detail.

    the first and third are good, the middle one is not good. There is no clear subject and the little bit of fence in the foreground distracts from the rest of the picture. I would use a longer lens and get a nice detail shot of the fence with some of the field behind it. OR use the rectangular shape of the fence and frame the barn in it with the same composition as picture 3

    nice shots. it's a toss up with the 1st and 3rd. the 3rd slightly taking the lead.

    The third is the best imo. Maybe with more treeline / skyline. Did you crop the original?
