Thank ya. After my new car gets back from the shop (Bummer) I'll see how much I have to play with. It was $4k but that is going to change when the shop is done. I was going to get a Laptop and a new Digicam but now its looking like I"m going to have to skip out on the laptop.

you are 100% right. Just looked it up. Under the camera, in the accessories, is hidden a "EOS Charging Kit - Essential for operation" for $289.00. Throw in the Pro Lithium Battery for another $139, and this place is a rip.

I'm looking for a camera too, and now I know where not to buy .

Edit: For 1119.95, BH sells the camera with the following...

    BP-511A Lithium-Ion battery

    CG-580 Battery Charger

    USB Cable (IFC-400PCU)

    Video Cable (VC-100)

    Eb Eyecup

    Neck Strap

    Body Cap

    EOS Digital Solutions Software CD-ROM

Digital Photo Professional 1.1 Software CD-ROM

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 Software CD-ROM

Awesome. Thanks for doing some leg work for me! I was just looking at laptops too, it appears I may still be able to afford one. All depends on the shop now.

I also found a really good unbiased and technical review of the 20d vs the 10d. I'm leaning heavily on getting the 20d. Just gotta convince the ol' lady.

Good read. Also saw this. http://www.photo.net/equipment/canon/30D/ <-- Preview on the 30D and they say its shipping in March for around $1400 body only $1500 with a 18-55 Lens. Spot on Quack.
