I could see a portrait studio that just cranks out pics of kids getting old fast.

With the right advertising and marketing though ... good luck - you have an eye for great pics.

You definitely have a nack for hitting the right shot. Professionsl photography is definitely a bright option for you. Just remember though, a loved hobby can become a hated activity if it becomes a "have to do" rather than a "get to do".
Here is one of my family I took a few days ago. I had never used the delay on my camera before. This is my first try.

Yeah, but what he is saying is that you might like it for while and you might love going to work because you like what you do, but often the schedule and pressure of working can cause a beloved hobby to become an annoying obligation.
I know many people that loved website design, working on cars, writting, etc.. and then made it a profession and now they dislike doing even though they used to love it because now it is a "job" and not a hobby.
