    c00lbeans, I realize that Lexar is a better media name but IMO for most point and shoot poeple that kinda media isn't needed. I have been running PQI cards in my point and shoot for years without a problem.

    I bought one to keep on hand as a backup for my microdrive.

    Yes, Sandisk is faster and has a better reputation. For the type of shooting I do, I don't need an extra 2 MB/sec. And for only 47 bucks, you can't really beat it.

    My brother-in-law's 5G microdrive crashed and burned over Thanksgiving. He loaded it up with great pics of the kids, and wasn't able to retrieve anything. I think I'll stick with solid state.

    its not about size and speed, its about the corrupted files. you will want to curl up and go to bed for days when you lose 200 photos.
