    How big can you go

How big can you enlarge a photograph taken with a D70? And does the format matter? The photographs were taken in RAW or jpeg-fine.

Does anyone know if Costco can process photographs in RAW format?

I doubt Costco can handle RAW files, as most cameras have different RAW formats.

And as to how big you can go - you can go as big as you want - billboard size even. But, it all depends on what the viewing distance is of the print.

I just got one of these 16x20 poster prints I made the other day and the quality is EXCELLENT. I have no doubt a 20x30 would look just as good.

Raw lets you ajust the white balance a and a bit of exposure. its the same amount of pixils so its same quality of an uncompressed JPG. Dont give costco raw files, you will just confuse them. edit the color of your raws at home and save jpgs or tiffs to be printed. 20x30 is probly your max for close up viewing and you should probly add pixils to the picture to make sure the PPI is above 150
