Man that would make a killer poster or something along those lines. Good job.

i think a white frame with little black border is better for very dark B&W pictures, but that's just my opinion, and i don't have PS at work to post it.

I was going to say something similar (cropping)...

However I was looking at it in photoshop. The best point to put the guitarist compositionally is top-left I think. However, if you crop that picture like that, you lose the light on the top left of this photo, and the image loses a lot of depth unfortunately. It just didn't look as interesting.

That being said, I think the best thing to save this photo would be if the koreanbeefcake would have waited til the guitarist moved a bit to the left, or if he walked to the right 20 ft. or so and took the shot from there. It's difficult to do anything with this compositionally IMHO.

Instead of making it a landscape shot, how about making it a portrait shot?

    That's actually like the anti-rule

Check these links for some pretty good lessons on composition:

Myke - good work. That's probably the best compositionally I think we could have gotten from that shot.

look at your black border, then look at the back of the epeoples heads. there is a huge diff in shades. the back of there heads should be black.
